1. Taliyasan

Have you ever been swimming in the sea accompanied by a Whale Shark? Surely this will be a very amazing experience and a little adrenaline rush. You need not be afraid because these whale sharks are plankton-eaters and harmless to humans. This whale shark is a fairly friendly animal. However, we are also not advised to take aggressive actions such as touching them or making surprising moves. Such actions can make them shocked and uncomfortable. This whale shark has a length of about 9 - 10 meters. So it would be a pity if the opportunity to swim with this giant animal is passed.

2. Labuan Cermin

After swimming with Whale Sharks in Taliyasan, it's time we moved to Labuan Mirror Lake. This lake is also commonly called the "Lake Two Rasa", because this lake can reflect sunlight that produces the surface of the lake as a mix of salted lake water and freshwater lake. The lake is very stunning because of its water clarity, so we can enjoy it by snorkeling, swimming, or just sitting around enjoying the view of this very blue water and the shady trees that surround it. What a sight that will make us smile wide!

3. Pulau Sangalaki

Next is Sangalaki Island. Because the Derawan Islands is an archipelago with a cluster of 31 small islands around it, it is certain if these islands have their own uniqueness that must be visited. One of the uniqueness of the island that has an area of about 15.9 hectares is the largest breeding ground for turtles in Southeast Asia. When the sea water is tide at night, this tortoise will go ashore. In addition, the island is also known as a stingray habitat that will come here to feed their plankton. The stingrays will appear from all directions, and generally appear from the north side of Sangalaki Island.

4. Pulau Kakaban

Another interesting Island in Derawan Islands is Kakaban Island. Island that has attracted many local and foreign tourists is a lake that was formed at the time of antiquity, exactly 2 million years ago. The lake was formed due to incoming sea water mixed with groundwater and rain. Because the island's high cliff wall reaches approximately 50 meters, sea water can not enter into the lake. Therefore, this condition is very good for the jellyfish habitat that makes Kakaban Island is also famous for its swimming with jellyfish tour. However, you need not be afraid, because the jellyfish here is a harmless jellyfish. So do not miss the chance to swim with this amazing animal!
